The Practice Nursing Team provides appointments during surgery hours for tasks such as dressings, removal of sutures, injections, vaccinations etc. The team performs routine health checks for all new patients and run various health promotion clinics.

The Reception Team have the hardest role of all; coping with the needs of the patients/clinicians and constraints of our appointment system.  They endeavour to provide the best service possible to our patients in total confidence.  It would be helpful for general enquiries to be made after 10.30am.

The Dispensary Team dispenses prescriptions for our patients who live more than a mile from the nearest chemist, and also process prescriptions for patients living within Chatteris.

The Administration Team provides secretarial and administrative support dealing with hospital referrals, clinical post, data entry, summarisation of medical records, and general administration.
 

Meet Our Community & Attached Staff



District Nurses – based at Doddington Hospital, Doddington.  The district nurses can be contacted on  0844 931 0045 and select Option 1. This number can be used Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. 

Outside these times, including weekends and bank holidays call 01603 481205

 
Health Visitors – based at Doddington Hospital.  They can be contacted on 01354 644368.  They provide  support and advice to parents of preschool children including all health checks and has a health promotion role with all age groups.  They hold a weekly clinic on a Wednesday  1.15 - 2.45 pm at The Children's Centre, Larham Way, Chatteris, Cambs PE16 6PH.

Midwives – hold weekly clinics at The Children’s Centre, Larham Way, Chatteris, Cambs PE16 6PH.  If you think you will need to make an appointment with your GP for this to be confirmed.  The GP will refer patients to the Midwife.
